Profile upload data: When you run a profile audit, we collect the screenshots and profile evidence you upload—photos, bio text, prompts, and related profile content as shown in your dating app.

Usage Data: We may collect information about how you access and use the Service, including your device type, browser type, and pages visited.

Cookies: We use cookies to store your preferences and settings, and to analyze how you use our Service.

3. Profile Uploads and Audits

When you use Profile Signal Audit (Roast) or related products, you may upload dating profile screenshots—photos, bio text, prompts, and other profile evidence as it appears in the app.

We collect and store these uploads to run your analysis, generate your report, and let you access results tied to your account. Upload only images and text you have permission to analyze.

We do not publish customer profiles, run public shaming threads, or use your uploads for marketing without your consent.

4. AI and Service Provider Processing

To generate an audit, your uploads and derived analysis data may be processed by automated systems and third-party AI model providers that assist in operating the Service (for example, vision and language analysis).

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the analysis you request. Payment processing is handled separately by Stripe.

We do not sell your Personally Identifiable Information. Third parties are used to operate the Service under confidentiality and data-processing obligations appropriate to their role.

5. Retention and Deletion

Uploads, reports, and account-related records are retained as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain your account history, and meet legal or operational requirements.

We do not represent that uploads are deleted immediately after analysis. Stored data supports report access, billing records, and service continuity.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold. Contact support@thecitadelapp.com to submit a request; we will respond as required by applicable law.

6. Report Access and Sharing

Your audit report is private by default and associated with your account. Individual report pages are not intended for public search indexing.

Reports are not posted to a public gallery. If you choose to share a report link with someone else, you control that disclosure.

Do not upload content you are not willing to have processed for your private audit.

7. Image File Metadata

Image files may contain embedded metadata (such as location, device, or camera information). We do not use EXIF metadata as a primary input to your audit.

Some processing paths re-encode images for analysis, which may change embedded metadata, but we do not guarantee removal of all EXIF or device-identifying data from every upload.

Avoid uploading images that contain location or device metadata you do not want processed. Contact support if you have questions about a specific upload.

8. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
  • To run profile and message analyses you request.
  • To improve, personalize, and expand our Service.
  • To understand and analyze how you use our Service.
  • To develop new products, services, features, and functionality.
  • To communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the Service, and for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • To process your transactions and manage your orders.
  • To find and prevent fraud.

9. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential (e.g., payment processors like Stripe, and AI model providers used to deliver analyses). We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
